"The Day We Began"
Every year, we commemorate a profound and everlasting memory of our homeland, (#The_Day_We_Began). What a remarkable beginning it was—one that has endured for more than three centuries. It dates back to February 22, 1727, when Imam Muhammad bin Saud Al Saud (may Allah have mercy on him) laid the foundation stone of this great nation, firmly rooted in history, with Diriyah as its capital. Today, we cherish the spirit of this noble occasion, (#Founding_Day), a day dear to our hearts, where we reflect on the values, sacrifices, and heroic struggles that accompanied the building of this grand entity at the hands of just, resolute, and steadfast leaders, supported by loyal and dedicated men.
Founding Day is a day of pride for all citizens, celebrating the deep historical, cultural, and civilizational roots of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It reaffirms the strong bond between the people and their leadership, as well as the blessings of security, unity, and stability that we enjoy under the guidance of our wise leadership—may Allah support them. With God’s will and the determination of our nation’s people, we will continue this journey with unwavering resolve, undiminished enthusiasm, and steadfast ambition to achieve our goals, fulfill our vision, and realize our aspirations and dreams.
On this cherished occasion, I am honored and privileged to extend my heartfelt congratulations to:
- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,
- His Royal Highness, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,
- The noble Saudi people,
- And all residents who share this great nation with us.
We pray to Almighty Allah to protect our country, our leadership, and our people, to grant us the continued blessings of faith, unity, security, prosperity, and stability, and to shield us from the schemes of adversaries and those who seek to harm us.
