Responsibilities and Functions of the Committee:
- Conducting quality assurance and academic accreditation activities within the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences.
- Working on the course specifications in alignment with the standards and guidelines of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA).
- Reviewing program and course files within the department and proposing necessary modifications in accordance with NCAAA standards and guidelines.
- Conducting necessary studies and benchmarking to develop the department’s programs in line with local and international standards, and preparing performance indicators and improvement plans to enhance outcomes and increase efficiency.
- Monitoring the measurement of performance indicators and learning outcomes, ensuring their alignment with periodic and final examinations for each academic term, and proposing appropriate improvement plans.
- Preparing the department’s programs to meet the requirements for program accreditation as per the NCAAA.
- Working toward obtaining international accreditation for the Bachelor of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences program from recognized and reputable organizations.
- Supervising the exit exam for graduates of the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in both Sakaka and Al-Qurayyat campuses
