Committee duties and responsibilities:

1. Carrying out quality and academic accreditation activities in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, with keeping and organizing documents, forms and evidence (paper and electronically) in the department’s quality office.

2. Contribute to the updating and development of the department's study plans.

3. Supervising the description of academic courses in accordance with the standards and regulations of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.

4. Reviewing program and course files and proposing the necessary amendments according to the standards and regulations of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.

5. Make the necessary studies and reference comparisons to develop the department's programs in line with local and international standards.

6. Follow-up to measure the performance indicators for each semester.

7 . Follow-up on the measurement of learning outcomes and their agreement with the periodic and final exams.

8. Planning for the bachelor's program in clinical laboratory sciences to obtain international accreditation from a recognized body.

9. Carry out the tasks assigned to it by the head of the department.

 

 

Committee duties and responsibilities:

 

  1. Preparing and following up the department's schedules and announcing them during the first week of the semester.

  2. Determining the specialized faculty members to teach each division.

  3. Working on solving graduates' problems related to schedules.

  4. Determining the time frame for the quarterly and final exams.

  5. Informing male and female students of the examination instructions and procedures.

  6. Receiving requests for re-correction and proposing the formation of re-correction committees.

  7. Suggesting the schedules of the faculty members (academic hours only).

  8. Suggesting course coordinators in coordination with the Quality and Academic Accreditation Committee.

  9. Carry out the tasks assigned to it by the head of the department.

1. Identification of staff and training to work on overcoming difficulties.

2. Distribution and distribution of students to hospitals.

3. Preparing reports to follow up the years of excellence in the places of their training.

4. Follow-up reports of training supervisors in hospitals on practical performance.

5. Follow up on student evaluation reports from different departments in hospitals.

6. Preparing reports on the observations of training and excellence supervisors in hospitals.

7. Follow-up to the completion of the internship program for male and female students from training in the central committee of the college.

1. Prepare a comprehensive program to prepare male and female students for the professional practice exam in the field of clinical laboratory sciences, in preparation for obtaining professional classification and registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

2. Identify and nominate qualified students to take the professional practice exam.

3. Prepare a mock exam for students nominated for the professional practice exam.

4. Coordinate with the College's Training and Internship Unit to prepare a list of the professional practice exam preparation program.

5. Prepare an exam guide covering all clinical laboratory tracks.

6. Coordinate with the department's committee for the achievement test (standard) at Al-Jouf University.

7. Prepare reports to monitor the exam results of the department's male and female students and submit them to the department council.

8. Carry out any tasks assigned to it by the department head.

1. Disseminate a culture of quality measurement and evaluation to advance the educational process in the department.

2. Activate the faculty performance evaluation system.

3. Design and prepare various evaluation tools and adopt modern methods in the field of measurement and evaluation.

4. Evaluate test items and questions and write reports accordingly.

5. Prepare improvement plans based on evaluation and performance results.

6. Activate the comparison system and prepare performance indicators for the program.

7. Coordinate with the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college.

8. Carry out any tasks assigned to it by the head of the department.

1. Study the department's need for faculty members according to various specializations.

2. Review applicants' applications, sort, and evaluate them.

3. Contact applicants to fill in any gaps.

4. Conduct personal interviews with candidates after screening them using available methods.

5. Nominate outstanding faculty members based on the department's needs and submit a list of candidates and their documents for recruitment and appointment procedures.

6. Carry out any other tasks assigned to it by the department head.

1. Develop a plan for implementing the standardized achievement test.

2. Develop standardized achievement tests and academic scales based on learning outcomes, taking into account their relative weights in each individual course and the program as a whole.

3. Prepare standardized achievement test specifications tables.

4. Prepare question banks for the standardized achievement test.

5. Prepare the final standardized achievement test paper.

6. Send the final results to the department's Academic Affairs Unit to prepare test reports.

7. Carry out any other tasks assigned to it by the department head.

 

Committee Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Develop a plan for student activities and community service in the department.

2. Oversee the department's plan for student activities and community service.

3. List initiatives submitted by students and faculty members in the department in the field of community service and extracurricular activities.

4. Study the proposed mechanism for implementing activities for the Department Head.

5. Submit a report on the activities conducted to the Department Head.

6. Represent the department in events held at the university level and outside the university.

7. Participate in the closing ceremony of activities held at the end of the academic year.

8. Carry out any other tasks assigned to it by the Department Head.

 

Committee Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Conduct a survey to identify the training needs of faculty members in the areas of teaching and learning, scientific research, community service, quality and academic accreditation, academic leadership courses, and specialized courses.

2. Conduct a survey to identify the training needs of administrators and technicians.

3. Develop a training plan for faculty, administrators, and technicians based on the needs identified in the needs surveys.

4. Submit a plan outlining the training needs of the targeted participants to the Department Council for approval, and then send it to the University's Skills Development Center.

5. Follow up on the implementation of the plan (attendance list) and then conduct a survey to assess the level of satisfaction with the training courses for the targeted participants.

6. Prepare a report at the end of the academic year on the targeted training courses, develop an improvement plan for the current year, and report on the progress made in implementing the previous year's work plans.

7. Prepare an induction program for new faculty members, administrators, and technicians, and approve the program for the department.

8. Follow up on the implementation of the induction program (attendance list) and then conduct a survey to assess the level of satisfaction with the program for new faculty members, administrators, and technicians.

9. Prepare a report at the end of the academic year on the orientation program for new faculty members, administrators, and technicians, develop an improvement plan for the current year, and review progress made in implementing the previous year's work plans.

10. Carry out any tasks assigned by the department head.

11. Submit recommendations to the department head on a regular basis.
