The College of Applied Medical Sciences receives His Excellency the University President’s Award for Entrepreneurship in the category of High-Impact Initiatives for its initiative “Qader… Together to Challenge Disability”
Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the President of Jouf University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al‑Shaya, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Abdullah bin Falleh Alsrahani, received the shield of His Excellency the University President’s Award for Entrepreneurship for 2025 – High‑Impact Initiatives category – for the community initiative “Qader… Together to Challenge Disability,” during the ceremony organized by the university as part of its orientation towards supporting excellence and entrenching a culture of institutional social responsibility.
This achievement comes as a culmination of the College’s efforts in designing and implementing distinctive initiatives aimed at empowering persons with disabilities, raising community awareness of their issues, and enhancing their inclusion and active participation in various aspects of life through specialized rehabilitative and awareness programs and strategic partnerships with relevant entities, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve quality of life and build an inclusive, enabling society.
On this occasion, the Dean of the College expressed his pride in this recognition, affirming that the award reflects the university leadership’s confidence in the impactful community initiatives delivered by the College and appreciating the outstanding efforts made by the College’s members in a spirit of integration and professionalism. He also stressed the College’s keenness to continue launching sustainable initiatives and projects that strengthen its leadership in the health and community fields and contribute to supporting the University’s role in advancing comprehensive national development.
