College of Applied Medical Sciences Wins Leadership Medals in Three Categories in the 2025 University President’s Leadership Award
Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the President of Jouf University, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al‑Shaya, the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Abdullah bin Falleh Alsrhani, received the 2025 University President’s Leadership Awards. The ceremony was organized by the university to honor distinguished colleges, deanships, and departments, and to promote a culture of leadership, creativity, and institutional excellence.
The University President’s Leadership Award is one of the incentive initiatives launched by the university to support institutional excellence, encourage creativity and innovation, and motivate colleges, deanships, and departments to enhance their performance and launch high‑impact qualitative initiatives and projects that contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and strengthening the university’s competitiveness locally and globally.
The College of Applied Medical Sciences achieved a remarkable accomplishment by winning the award in three main categories, reflecting the diversity of excellence fields within the college, namely:
First: Initiatives with Outstanding Impact
This was for its community initiative “Qader… Together to Challenge Disability,” which aimed to empower persons with disabilities, raise societal awareness of their issues, and enhance their inclusion in the community through rehabilitation and awareness programs and effective partnerships with relevant entities, thereby contributing to improving quality of life and aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Second: Innovation and Patents Branch
This award came as a culmination of the college’s efforts to strengthen the research and innovation ecosystem, develop pioneering projects with impact in the health sector, support the registration of patents, and motivate faculty members and students to innovate, thereby contributing to providing applied health solutions that support national development priorities.
Third: Website and Media Content Branch
The college received the award in recognition of its excellence in developing its electronic portal, enhancing its digital media presence, and providing professional content that reflects the college’s identity and mission, facilitates access to information and services for beneficiaries, and strengthens institutional communication in line with best digital practices.
Dean of the College Praises the Honor and Affirms Continued Excellence
On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Prof. Abdullah bin Falih Al‑Sarhani, expressed his pride in this achievement, affirming that winning the award in three categories reflects the university leadership’s confidence in the efforts and dedication of the college’s staff and embodies the integrated institutional work adopted by the college. He also pointed out that these awards serve as a motivation to continue launching pioneering initiatives and projects, strengthening research and community partnerships, and consolidating the college’s position among its peer health colleges.
