
The College of Computer and Information Sciences concludes the qualifiers for the Women's Digital Health Hackathon
The qualifying stage of the Women's Digital Health Hackathon has commenced, launched by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as part of the events accompanying the International Camel Festival. This hackathon targets women programmers, system developers, and entrepreneurs interested in digital innovation.
Approximately 150 participants, representing 60 teams from various regions and universities across the Kingdom, took part. Sixteen teams were selected to compete in the semi-finals, after which five teams demonstrating exceptional creativity, innovation, and high-quality design were advanced.
The five teams competed in the Women's Digital Health Hackathon finals. Team May from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University won first place. The team members are:
- Prof. Dr. Kholoud bint Saad Al-Moqrin
- Dalal Abdullah Hamad Al-Mutrodi
- Islam Mohammed Mohammed Taher Al-Barnawi
- Al-Jazi Hassan Hamad Al-Qadi

Meanwhile, Team Raya, composed of students from the Software Engineering Department at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, Jouf University, secured second place. The team members are:
- Wajd Fahad Mohammed Al-Huzaim
- Rana Mohammed Haran Al-Anazi

Team Farez from the University of Jeddah won third place. The team members are:
- Doaa Salah Ibrahim Khorshid
- Huda Muhanad Waheeb Shaikhoun
- Aya Hamza Ghulam Joharji
The three winning teams were honored by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during the activities of the Al-Jouf Innovates for National Development forum.
