The Applied College at Jouf University held the Permanent Academic Affairs Committee Meeting No. (1) for the academic year 1447 AH on Monday, 9 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1447 AH (1 September 2025) at 11:30 a.m.
The meeting addressed a range of key topics, including requests for students’ re-enrollment, additional academic opportunities, absence excuses for final exams, campus transfer requests, visiting student applications, as well as special cases for students to register remaining courses including the field training course.
This meeting reflects the college’s commitment to facilitating academic procedures and supporting students to achieve their educational goals.

The Applied College at Jouf University held the Permanent Academic Affairs Committee Meeting No. (2) for the academic year 1447 AH on Thursday, 19 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1447 AH (11 September 2025) at 12:00 p.m.
The meeting addressed several academic topics, including reviewing course registration requests from the Environmental Protection Technology Program to improve academic performance, as well as course registration from the new Cybersecurity Program plan for male students.
This meeting is part of the college’s continuous efforts to support students’ academic journey and streamline their registration processes.

The Applied College at Jouf University held the third meeting of the Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs for the academic year 1447 AH on Monday, 14/4/1447 AH, corresponding to 11:30 AM, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Prof. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, with the attendance of committee members.

During the meeting, the committee discussed several important academic and organizational matters, including a request to grant an additional opportunity for a student to complete graduation requirements, the formation of the Student Advisory Council at the Applied College, and the renewal of approval for the establishment of the English Language Student Club and its branches across the university campuses for the academic year 1447 AH.

The meeting reflects the college’s commitment to supporting students academically, enhancing student activities, and developing the educational environment in line with the university’s goals and aspirations.

The Applied College at Jouf University held the fourth meeting of the Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs for the academic year 1447 AH on Wednesday, 14/5/1447 AH, at 12:30 PM, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Prof. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, with the attendance of committee members.

During the meeting, the committee discussed several important academic matters, most notably the approval of field experience specifications for practical training courses in technical and engineering programs, administrative and humanities programs, as well as the Environmental Protection Technology program. These decisions aim to enhance the quality of practical training and ensure alignment with approved study plans and graduation requirements.

The committee also discussed approving the Level One Completion Document for the Common English Language Pathway for Applied College programs, as part of organizing students’ academic pathways and strengthening English language learning outcomes in accordance with the university’s approved academic regulations and policies.

The Applied College at Jouf University held the fifth meeting of the Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs for the academic year 1447 AH on Monday, 26/5/1447 AH, at 11:30 AM, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Prof. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, with the attendance of committee members.

During the meeting, the committee discussed several important academic and organizational matters, most notably the approval of internal and external transfer criteria for Applied College programs for the second semester of the academic year 1447 AH, in line with the university’s approved academic regulations and procedures.

The committee also discussed approving the extracurricular student activities plan for the Applied College for the academic year 1447 AH, aiming to support student engagement and encourage participation in cultural, volunteer, and developmental activities.

In addition, the committee reviewed proposed updates to the academic regulations and procedures for students enrolled in the Applied College, as well as proposed amendments to certain provisions of the academic authority matrix for Applied College programs and operating colleges, in alignment with the university’s updated academic bylaws and examination regulations.

The Applied College at Jouf University held the sixth meeting of the Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs for the academic year 1447 AH on Wednesday, 4/7/1447 AH, at 11:30 AM, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Prof. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, with the attendance of committee members.

During the meeting, the committee discussed several important academic and organizational matters, most notably approving the proposed number of male and female students available for specialization in Applied College programs for the academic year 1448 AH, in alignment with labor market needs and the Saudi Unified Classification of Specializations and Occupations.

The committee also discussed updating the program and course specifications for fee-based distance learning programs according to the updated templates issued by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation. The programs included Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Supply Chain Management, and Risk Management.

In addition, the committee reviewed and approved the budget for the extracurricular student activities implementation plan for the academic year 1447 AH, in support of cultural, volunteer, and community service activities.

The meeting reflects the Applied College’s commitment to developing its academic programs, enhancing the quality of education and training, and supporting student activities in alignment with the university’s objectives and Saudi Vision 2030.

The Applied College at Jouf University held the seventh meeting of the Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs for the academic year 1447 AH on Monday, 30/7/1447 AH, at 12:00 PM, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, with the attendance of committee members.

During the meeting, the committee discussed several important academic matters, most notably requests for re-enrollment for the second semester of the academic year 1447 AH. The committee recommended approving the re-enrollment of 16 students who met the academic requirements, while 40 requests were not approved due to failure to meet the applicable regulations.

The committee also reviewed requests for additional academic opportunities for students and recommended granting additional opportunities to a number of academically struggling students and those with a limited number of remaining credit hours to complete graduation requirements, in accordance with the university’s approved academic regulations and procedures.

In addition, the committee reviewed requests from students who were absent from final examinations during the first semester of the academic year 1447 AH and recommended approving excuses for 36 students and allowing them to take alternative examinations, while 33 requests were rejected due to insufficient justification.

The committee further discussed requests to register the practical training course along with one remaining course in the study plan and recommended approving this arrangement for all Applied College programs except the Sterilization Program.

The Applied College at Jouf University held the eighth meeting of the Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs for the academic year 1447 AH on Wednesday, 2/8/1447 AH, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, to discuss several academic and organizational matters related to students.

During the meeting, the committee discussed requests for changing study locations, visiting student requests, academic dismissal and re-enrollment cases, as well as granting additional opportunities for a number of students to complete their graduation requirements in accordance with approved academic regulations.

The Applied College at Jouf University held the ninth meeting of the Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs for the academic year 1447 AH on Wednesday, 9/8/1447 AH, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, to discuss several academic and organizational student-related cases.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed several requests for additional academic opportunities to complete studies, re-enrollment requests for students who had interrupted their studies, and requests to allow alternative final examinations for students absent due to approved medical excuses. The committee also discussed cases of students who successfully completed the Common English Language Pathway courses but did not achieve the required GPA for specialization in Applied College programs, recommending that they be granted a level completion certificate according to approved regulations.

The meeting reflects the Applied College’s commitment to supporting students academically, addressing academic cases in accordance with university regulations and policies, and enhancing the quality and fairness of the educational process.

The Applied College at Jouf University held the tenth meeting of the Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs for the academic year 1447 AH on Monday, 21/8/1447 AH, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, to discuss several academic and organizational student-related cases.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed several requests for additional academic opportunities for students expected to graduate but unable to complete graduation requirements within the regular study period. The committee recommended approving cases that met the approved academic regulations. It also discussed requests for alternative final examinations for students absent due to medical excuses or technical issues and recommended allowing alternative exams in accordance with university regulations.

The committee also reviewed cases of students who completed the Common English Language Pathway courses but did not achieve the required GPA for specialization in Applied College programs. The committee recommended not registering additional courses for those students while granting them level completion certificates according to approved regulations.

The Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs at Jouf University held its eleventh meeting for the academic year 1447 AH on Wednesday, 23/8/1447 AH, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, to discuss several academic and organizational matters related to students and academic programs.

The agenda included several academic cases, most notably:

Requests for re-enrollment to continue studies.
Requests for additional academic opportunities for struggling students.
Course equivalency requests for several Applied College students.
Approval of program specialization coding according to the Saudi Unified Classification of Educational Levels and Specializations.
Addressing internship course registration issues for students in the Sterilization Diploma Program.

The committee also reviewed academic cases where some requests did not meet the applicable regulations regarding re-enrollment or additional opportunities. Some cases were referred to higher authorities, while others received recommendations for non-approval according to university regulations.

Regarding academic programs, the committee recommended approving course equivalencies for a number of Applied College students in coordination with the College of Computer Science and Information and the Deanship of Admission and Registration, helping students continue and complete their study plans.

The committee also approved coding for Applied College specializations according to the Saudi Unified Classification of Educational Levels and Specializations. The approved programs included:

Cybersecurity
Computing and Network Technologies
Programming
Financial Management
Accounting
Marketing and Digital Marketing
Sterilization
Environmental Protection Technology

In relation to the Sterilization Diploma Program, the committee discussed internship course registration issues for students who had completed the required prerequisites and recommended the necessary academic procedures to support completion of the program according to the approved study plan.

The Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs at Jouf University held its twelfth meeting for the academic year 1447 AH on Tuesday, 29/8/1447 AH, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Prof. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, to discuss several student academic cases.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed an academic case related to a student in the Cybersecurity Program who requested an additional opportunity to complete graduation requirements after being unable to finish within the regular study period. The committee also reviewed the student’s academic status following the equivalency of several courses, which reduced the remaining credit hours in accordance with approved academic regulations.

The committee recommended approving an additional opportunity for the case under review in accordance with Article (22) of the university study and examination regulations, while adhering to the approved academic procedures and referring the matter to the Deanship of Admission and Registration for further processing.

The Permanent Committee for Academic Affairs at Jouf University held its thirteenth meeting for the academic year 1447 AH on Monday, 25/10/1447 AH, chaired by the CEO of the Applied College, Prof. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Anzi, to discuss several academic and organizational matters related to Applied College programs.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed the internal and external transfer criteria for Applied College programs for the first semester of the academic year 1448 AH, in accordance with the regulations governing applied colleges and the approved academic procedures at Jouf University. The committee also reviewed the number of admitted and enrolled students, as well as the proposed transfer criteria between academic programs.

The committee recommended approving the internal and external transfer criteria for Applied College programs for the first semester of the academic year 1448 AH and referring them to the Deanship of Admission and Registration to complete the necessary procedures in accordance with approved university regulations.

The meeting reflects the Applied College’s commitment to organizing academic procedures, enhancing transfer mechanisms between programs, and supporting academic flexibility for students in line with approved university regulations.
