Department of Sports Activities
About the Department:

The Department of Sports Activities aims to promote physical and mental well-being among students by spreading a culture of sports and expanding the base of participants within the university. The department strives to support and nurture athletic talents, provide a competitive sports environment that enhances students’ abilities, and contribute to representing the university both locally and internationally.

Objectives:

Raise awareness about the importance of sports as a healthy lifestyle.

Provide a suitable environment for students to practice sports within available resources.

Build a generation of athletically skilled and competitive students.

Support athletic talents, identify outstanding individuals, and empower them to develop.

Organize sports tournaments and events within and outside the university.

Support the university’s representation in official competitions and help achieve athletic accomplishments.

About the Department:

The Department of Social Activities aims to strengthen interaction between the university and the community, encouraging students to contribute to their society and raising awareness about certain behaviors and phenomena within the university in alignment with its vision and mission of preparing qualified national cadres.

Build a well-rounded student personality.

Department of Cultural and Scientific Activities
About the Department:

The Department of Cultural and Scientific Activities at the Deanship of Student Affairs, Jouf University, is a hub of creativity and intellectual development. It aims to enhance students’ cultural and scientific engagement and provide a supportive environment for excellence and innovation. The department organizes a wide range of programs and activities to refine students’ skills and develop their capabilities in line with the university’s mission and vision of preparing qualified national cadres.

Objectives:

Promote cultural and scientific awareness through targeted and inclusive events.

Discover and refine students' talents across various fields.

Represent the university in local and international forums to enhance its reputation.

Student Activities Department
Overview:
Student activities represent a broad field where students can practice and develop their hobbies and talents. They consist of purposeful programs designed to enrich students' personalities, enhance their abilities, and make productive use of their free time. The student is both the focus and the goal of these activities.

Unit Objectives:
Develop students’ leadership skills and encourage decision-making.

Help students discover, develop, and refine their talents and interests.

Emphasize the value of utilizing free time through various beneficial student activities.

Provide opportunities for students to participate in cultural, scouting, and sports events.

Unit Responsibilities:
Organize programs and activities that serve the university and local community, and encourage participation in volunteer and charitable initiatives.

Host celebrations for national, religious, and student occasions.

Conduct seminars and meetings focused on student activities.

Plan social and recreational trips, as well as camps.

Collaborate with government agencies and associations on religious, sports, cultural, and volunteer events, and facilitate students' participation in both internal and external activities.

Student Services Department:

Overview of the Student Services Agency:

The Student Services Agency at the Deanship aims to prepare and develop the university environment, making it a healthy, stimulating, and attractive environment. It also seeks to achieve quality in providing student services in line with the changes of the era, through the essential service programs it offers and the social and psychological care it provides.

• Department Overview

The Beneficiary Support and Student Care Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs is concerned with providing comprehensive and integrated services that enhance the student university experience and meet their academic, social, and psychological needs. The department aims to provide a supportive and stimulating environment that contributes to increasing student satisfaction and improving their university life quality, through guidance, follow-up, and assistance in overcoming the challenges they may face during their academic journey.

• Main Tasks of the Department

1- Providing support and assistance to students in all matters related to the services provided by the Deanship of Student Affairs, responding to inquiries, and directing them to the relevant departments within the deanship.

2-Receiving complaints and feedback related to student services, working on addressing them, or forwarding them to the concerned authorities and following up on corrective measures.

3- Caring for students who benefit from support programs, such as students with disabilities, scholarship students, and students in need, and coordinating to provide them with the necessary services and facilities.

4- Following up on individual and special student cases that require additional intervention or support in coordination with relevant parties inside and outside the university.

Disability Unit.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Student Affairs Agency for Student Services, seeks to prepare the educational and social environment for all beneficiaries, especially students with disabilities, to develop and enhance their abilities, which drives them towards academic, cultural, and social progress. This is achieved by providing educational opportunities for all individuals. The Kingdom's Vision 2030 confirmed this aspect through the goal of improving equal opportunities to access education, as well as enabling the integration of people with disabilities into the labor market.

Tasks of the Disability Unit

1- Coordinating with the university's departments, deanships, and colleges to serve students, especially those with disabilities, and welcoming new students at the beginning of each semester while informing them about Al-Jouf University's regulations supporting persons with disabilities.

 2- Providing technological means directed at persons with disabilities and monitoring the services provided, as well as suggestions for their development.

 3- Preparing all available human, material, and scientific resources to meet the needs of students at the university. 

4- Working on communication between the Deanship of Student Affairs and other related deanships and departments concerning all students at the university, especially those with disabilities. 

5- Conducting necessary meetings between students with disabilities and the Deanship of Student Affairs to introduce the services provided to them and understand their requirements. 

6- Holding workshops to inform faculty members about the needs of students with disabilities and facilitate their academic and social requirements. 

7- Opening a follow-up student case at the academic level to address any deficiencies that occur during their academic journey at the university.

Transport Department: 

The female student transport department at the Deanship of Student Affairs is considered one of the vital departments aiming to facilitate movement within the university campus and

Outside, to ensure the comfort and safety of the students. The department provides various transportation services, including providing transportation between colleges and different university facilities, as well as providing transportation from surrounding cities and areas to the campus, in addition to organizing field trips and outdoor activities. The department works to provide safe and reliable transportation, while ensuring adherence to precise schedules to meet the daily needs of the students. The Student Transportation Department also seeks to improve the university commuting experience, taking into account the facilities that ensure students' comfort during their movements within and outside the campus, and providing a safe and accessible environment for everyone. The department continuously works to monitor and develop its services to ensure the best experience for the university's male and female students. Student Clubs and Advisory Councils Supervisor
About Student Clubs:
Student clubs are structured organizations under the Deanship of Student Affairs, established by the Dean’s decision. These clubs are key platforms for developing talents and promoting student creativity across various fields within and outside the university.

About Advisory Councils:
The Student Advisory Council represents students at all levels and aims to enhance student services by involving students in proposing solutions and contributing to a supportive academic environment. There is a university-level council composed of selected student representatives nominated by college deans, and college-level councils formed by department-nominated students to support academic and educational development.

Transportation Department
The Female Students’ Transportation Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs is one of the key departments dedicated to facilitating student mobility within and outside the university campus, ensuring the comfort and safety of female students. The department provides various transportation services, including commuting between colleges and university facilities, as well as from surrounding cities and areas to the university campus. It also organizes field trips and off-campus activities.

The department ensures safe and reliable transportation services with a strong commitment to accurate schedules to meet daily student needs. It constantly strives to enhance the university commuting experience by providing comfortable and accessible transportation options and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. The department continuously monitors and develops its services to ensure the best possible experience for all students.

International Students Department
The International Students Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs is a vital unit dedicated to offering full support to international students coming from all over the world to study at Jouf University. The department monitors their academic progress in coordination with other relevant departments and provides a wide range of services to enhance their academic and social experience.

Its responsibilities include assistance with administrative procedures such as visas and residency, and the organization of cultural and social programs that introduce students to the local culture and promote integration with their peers and the wider community. The department also offers psychological and social support services to help students adjust to academic life and the new cultural environment. Additionally, it follows up regularly on the housing of scholarship students.

The department works to foster an inclusive academic environment that supports cultural harmony and ensures all necessary resources are available to guarantee the success of international students, thereby enriching university life with cultural and intellectual diversity.

The Student Fund is one of the strategic initiatives affiliated with the Deanship of Student Affairs at Jouf University. The fund also aims to enhance investment opportunities within the university environment to establish sustainable funding sources that contribute to the development of student-oriented services and activities.

Objectives of the Fund:
