Admission Guide for the Academic Year 1448H

Admission Guide for the Undergraduate Level (Bachelor's / Diploma)
Academic Year 1447H (2025–2026)

  • Entering preferences is an important step in the admission application process, so applicants should complete it carefully and thoughtfully to avoid being excluded from a major or from one of the universities.
  • Admission priority is based on weighted percentages and admission criteria, and the application submission date has no effect on it.
  • Applicants are encouraged to enter the largest possible number of preferences and arrange them carefully and accurately, as this increases the chances of being admitted to one of the selected majors.
  • Please make sure to save your preferences after entering or modifying them.

Applicants can review the university programs, admission requirements, and admission criteria through the National Unified Admission Platform or the website of the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at Jouf University.
Access the main page of the National Unified Admission Platform for male and female students according to the announced schedule.
Enter up to (25) preferences, while ensuring that the preferences are arranged carefully and thoughtfully, as this increases the chances of admission.
Save the entered preferences before leaving the preferences page, especially when making any later modifications.
After the specified period for electronic application ends, admission will be processed through competitive selection among applicants according to the announced admission criteria, preference order, and seat availability.

  • The applicant must be Saudi or born to a Saudi mother, or be a child of Saudi nationals.
  • The applicant must hold a general secondary school certificate or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom.
  • The applicant must have taken the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas) tests (Aptitude + Achievement tests — required for scientific, engineering, health, and business colleges).
  • The applicant must be medically fit in accordance with each college's admission policies.
  • No more than two years may have passed since obtaining the secondary school certificate for those applying to health specializations.
  • The applicant must successfully pass any test or personal interview deemed necessary by the University Council or College Council.
  • The applicant must meet any additional conditions specified by the University Council.
  • If the applicant is employed by any governmental, semi-governmental, military, or private entity, they must obtain approval from their employer to pursue studies.
  • A student currently enrolled in another university degree — at the same or another university — may not be admitted.
  • Admission is annual (at the beginning of each academic year); the University Council may make exceptions.
  • Admission is directly to the tracks and specializations offered by the university, in accordance with the admission requirements approved and announced by the University Council.
  • All programs of the Applied College are admitted through the English Language Track (theoretical/scientific).
Placement into a diploma program is done after passing the shared track, as follows:
    • Meeting the requirements approved by the Executive Council of the Applied College, provided the student's GPA is not less than 2 out of 5.
    • Placement into programs after passing the shared English Language Track is based on 50% weighted score and 50% GPA after completing the shared language track.

1- Is there priority in admission based on the date of application?

No. There is no priority based on submission date. Applying on the first day is no different from the last day, as long as the application was submitted within the announced period.

2- How many preferences must the applicant enter?

The applicant must enter a minimum of 25 preferences, ranked by priority. Note that more preferences increase the chances of admission.

3- Is there a second-semester application for admission?

Admission for both the first and second semesters takes place during the same university admission period shown in the timeline

4- Is there priority for this year's secondary school graduates?

No. Priority is given to those who achieve the highest scores according to the announced admission criteria (noting the condition of no more than two years having passed for health specializations).

5- Are graduates of secondary schools outside the Kingdom required to take National Center for Assessment tests?

Yes. All applicants who hold secondary certificates from outside the Kingdom are required to take the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas) tests.

6- Is the application paper-based or electronic?

Fully electronic, through the National Unified Admissions Platform only.

7- Can non-Saudi residents of the Kingdom apply?

Yes. Distinguished non-Saudi residents may be admitted in accordance with the relevant regulations, and applications are submitted through the Internal Scholarship Portal on the "Study in Saudi Arabia" platform during the designated periods.
