Academic and Student Advising is considered one of the fundamental pillars supporting students’ university journey. It aims to guide students academically and support them in overcoming educational and personal challenges. Advising contributes to helping students plan their academic paths, make informed decisions, and adapt to the university environment, thereby supporting their academic success and developing their personal and professional skills.
The Academic and Student Advising Unit at the College provides academic advising tools from university resources and delivers them to academic advisors and students.
In light of the ongoing development and diversity of academic requirements, there is an increasing need to adopt unified academic advising models that contribute to harmony and fairness in the delivery of advising services. Accordingly, the Academic Advising Unit at the College seeks to provide university-approved academic advising tools and make them available to both academic advisors and students, in support of effective academic guidance and an enhanced advising experience.
The Academic Advising Platform is a digital support tool designed to enhance effective communication between students and academic advisors and to facilitate access to advising services and academic information. The platform contributes to organizing advising processes, monitoring students’ academic progress, and providing guidance and support in a flexible manner that aligns with digital transformation in higher education.
