Unit Mission: To deliver comprehensive and integrated advisory services for all students and support gifted individuals in order to enhance university skills, ensuring academic, psychological, and professional adjustment in accordance with the latest technologies.
General Objective of the Unit: To provide guidance and counseling for students and support gifted individuals during their university studies through collaboration and partnership with deanships, colleges, units, and other committees within or outside the College of Education.
Operational Objectives of the Unit:
(1) Provide a comprehensive and integrated advisory environment that supports students’ academic achievement through specialized programs for high achieving, gifted, and academically struggling students.
(2) Enhance students’ university skills to achieve adaptation to the university environment and its requirements.
(3) Support gifted students by offering specialized advisory services for creative and innovative university students.
(4) Deliver professional services to all categories and regularly monitor their academic progress, providing appropriate support through clear and defined mechanisms.
(5) Ensure students’ academic, professional, and psychological adjustment and enable them to receive appropriate support through specialized staff.
(6) Provide services using the latest methods and technologies and activate electronic consultation services.
