Vice-Rectorate's Responsibilities

•    Supervising the preparation of the university's strategic plan and monitoring the achievement of its goals in alignment with Vision 2030.
•    Overseeing the execution of administrative, technical, and scientific tasks in the deanships and departments under the agency's jurisdiction, while striving to enhance performance and elevate its standards.
•    Supervising the preparation of the university's annual budget and ensuring the efficient utilization of financial resources while monitoring adherence to expenditure plans.
•    Preparing the university's annual reports and submitting them to the university president, including appropriate recommendations for improving performance and achieving goals.
•    Supervising infrastructure development projects at the university, including the modernization of facilities and ensuring they accommodate future needs according to the highest quality standards.
•    Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of projects to ensure compliance with timelines and specified standards.
•    Overseeing the university's assets and properties, including their maintenance and development, as well as monitoring storage and inventory processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
•    Supervising contracts and procurement processes in accordance with approved regulations, ensuring transparency and efficiency in expenditures.
•    Overseeing recruitment, appointments, promotions, and performance evaluations for all employees, ensuring the application of fair and transparent systems.
•    Supervising training programs to enhance the professional competence of employees and strengthen their abilities to serve the university's objectives.
•    Supporting departments in implementing initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and productivity, providing the necessary technical support and resources.
•    Applying governance principles to enhance transparency within the affiliated departments, improving performance and building trust in administrative and organizational processes.
•    Developing and implementing effective response plans for crises and potential risks, ensuring prompt handling of emergencies and operational stability.
•    Approving community service programs offered by various university sectors after obtaining approval from the university president.
•    Supervising security and safety operations across all university sites, organizing traffic flow, identifying necessary needs, and continuously improving them.
•    Monitoring the implementation of policies and regulations issued by relevant governmental entities and ensuring their alignment with university policies.
