As part of the university' plan aiming at enhancing the quality of education and achieving the university' strategic goals in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, His Excellency; the University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya, held a number of meetings with the deans and vice deans of the medical colleges, to confirm the achievement of the university' goals during the second semester of the academic year 1446 AH. This meeting comes within a series of meetings held by His Excellency; the University President with the deans of the university' colleges in this regard.
During the meeting, His Excellency; the University President stressed the importance of working according to the executive plan of the colleges in a way that achieves the university' goals according to its strategic plan, and stressed the importance of raising quality standards in the educational process in the medical colleges, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and focusing on improving the outcomes of the medical education and developing the academic programs to achieve international academic accreditation. At the same time, the colleges' deans showed a presentation about what have been fulfilled of the achievements, research and academic activities and community participation during the first semester. During the meeting, His Excellency, the President of the University stated that the university is an effective window to serve the region through its research projects and community services. His Excellency praised targeting the region through various health services, highlighting the role of the medical colleges in enhancing community participation through qualitative initiatives that aim to serve the local community, and stressing the importance of sustaining these initiatives and enhancing their positive impact. He also stressed the university' vision through launching qualitative programs that take into account the needs of the region and the labor market. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the maximum benefit of male and female students from the provided academic services and university activities emphasizing their pivotal role in achieving the university' future vision.
