As part of the university' plan to support plans and strategies aimed at enhancing the university' financial resources, investing its capabilities, and achieving maximum benefit from its human and material resources, which contributes to supporting its educational and research path, His Excellency; the university president, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, held a meeting with the university's investment committee, in the presence of the university's vice rectors, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Sadhan, CEO of Zain, and Mr. Bashar Al-Qunaibit, Senior Vice President of Business at Al-Bilad Bank.
The meeting discussed the approval of Jouf University' investment plan which aims to diversify the income sources, and increase the benefit from the university' available capabilities in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to achieve economic sustainability, develop educational, and research sectors.
His Excellency; the university president pointed out the university' commitment to supporting the investment areas in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, stressing the importance of cooperation with relevant parties to achieve the desired goals, strengthen its partnerships with the public and private sectors, and achieve maximum benefit from its human and material resources to support its academic and research path.
One of the university' investment opportunities was also discussed, which reflects the university' vision of transforming into a development center serving the region and the Kingdom in general. This step comes in response to the directives of the Wise Leadership towards achieving integration between education and economic development. 
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency, the university president stressed the continuation of the committee's diligent work to achieve the university' aspirations and raise the efficiency level of the university' investments in various fields.
