Based on the university' plan aimed at enhancing the quality of education and achieving the university' strategic goals in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and within the framework of keenness to improve the academic performance and ensure the efficient running of the educational process, His Excellency, the University President, Prof. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya, held a meeting with the deans of the Scientific Colleges at the university.
The meeting witnessed a discussion about the preparations for receiving the second semester, including the readiness of classrooms and laboratories, and providing all technical needs to support the educational process. To achieve the university's goals in preparing graduates with a high level of efficiency in the fields of engineering, science, and information technology, the development of study plans in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and enhancing the student experience through academic and research activities were also discussed.
During the meeting, His Excellency, the University President pointed out the vital role played by scientific colleges in serving the local community and supporting sustainable development, by combining education, scientific research, and community partnership, and the direct contribution of these colleges to achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and enhancing the knowledgeable economy.
In addition, he stressed the focus on applied researches that manipulate the environmental and economic challenges facing the Jouf region, enhancing the university' role in providing technical and scientific counselling to various sectors in the region, and contributing to raising awareness of scientific and technical issues.
During the meeting, His Excellency, the President of the University stressed the role of the Scientific Colleges at Jouf University in building a strong and sustainable knowledgeable society, which enhances the region's position as an important scientific and development center all over the Kingdom.
