The course aims to study the following fundamental elements: principles of stereochemistry, stereochemistry of organic reactions, conformational analysis, regioselectivity, stereoselectivity in cyclic molecules, stereoselectivity, assigning R and S configurations in organic compounds, chiral and achiral molecules, designation of stereogenic centers as R or S, structure, reactivity, and reaction mechanisms of various types of organic reactions.
