This course is designed to introduce students to the various regulations of research and train them on conducting actual research in year-2 based on the proposal previously prepared. They will learn about data analysis and writing the research paper. Student will be able to critically evaluate the research and to apply research findings in health care settings such as at the PHC level of care as evidence-based decision-making. This will strengthen activities in the PHC center in future and in the community with an aim to understand the various health issues in the community and the means for prevention and control of such conditions in evidence-based decision making, besides influencing policy makers.
