Based on Jouf University' firm commitment to empowering people with disabilities, by adopting qualitative policies and initiatives that enhance their educational and societal integration, in line with its strategic plan and what supports the achievement of the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in empowering this group and ensuring equal opportunities for all.


His Excellency, the President of Jouf University, Prof. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, inaugurated the university' exhibition of services and initiatives provided to people with disabilities, held by the College of Applied Medical Sciences, and highlights the university' pioneering efforts in empowering and supporting people with disabilities, through the "QADIR- Together We Challenge Disability" initiative, and the initiative named "Your Advisor", in addition to students' qualitative innovations and modern laboratories' equipment designated to support this group.
The exhibition witnessed a comprehensive review of the initiatives launched by the university to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, as the "QADIR " initiative provided programs and services aimed at empowering male and female students with disabilities and integrating them into the university and community environment, while the "Your Advisor" initiative focused on providing specialized consultations and academic and psychological support to ensure their excellence and effective integration.


The exhibition also included distinguished student innovations that reflect the university students' ability to innovate and develop to serve people with disabilities, in addition to reviewing laboratories equipped with the latest supportive technologies, which provide an integrated educational and training environment that meets their needs.
During his tour in the exhibition, the university president praised the efforts of students and faculty members in finding creative and innovative solutions that enhance the independence of people with disabilities, stressing that the university believes in its societal role towards these groups in the Jouf region, and seeks to achieve the highest standards to provide an inclusive educational environment that provides equal opportunities for all, and is in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in supporting and empowering people with disabilities.


Jouf University places support for people with disabilities at the heart of its strategic plan, as it works to provide an inclusive educational environment, develop academic and support services, and adopt the latest assistive technologies to ensure an integrated and sustainable educational experience for this group.
This exhibition embodies the university' keenness to provide comprehensive and sustainable support for this group, ensuring their full integration into the academic process and society.
Based on the university' vision towards this group, the university has adopted clear policies aimed at:
- Preparing the university environment in a manner that suits the needs of students with disabilities, by developing the university' infrastructure and facilities according to the highest standards.
- Launching support and rehabilitation programs and initiatives, such as the "QADIR - Together We Challenge Disability" initiative, which aims to enhance independence and self-reliance.
- Providing academic, psychological and professional consultations, through initiatives such as "Your Advisor", to ensure their adaptation and success in the educational, professional and social path.
- Stimulating innovation and developing supportive technical solutions, by supporting research projects and student innovations that contribute to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities.
