Jouf University Council held its fourth meeting for the academic year 1446 AH, headed by His Excellency, the University President, Prof. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-'Shaya with the attendance of the Council members. His Excellency, the University President opened the meeting by welcoming the two new Council members, Prof. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Fawzan, representing government agencies, and Eng. Badr bin Hamed bin Abdul Razzaq Al-A'ujan, representing the private sector. Many gradual topics on the agenda were discussed with the appropriate recommendations regarding them, which aim to enhance the university' educational and developmental efforts, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The most important of which were:
- Approval of the university' participation in the educational portfolio in the Ihsan Endowment Fund, within the framework of the university's keenness to enhance social responsibility and contribute to supporting national initiatives. This step comes in the context of the university' commitment to effectively contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, especially in the fields of sustainable education and supporting students and motivating them to educational excellence. This contributes to preparing qualified national cadres that contribute to the nation's renaissance and development.
- Approval of the general investment plan for Jouf University. This plan aims to diversify sources of income and increase the benefit from the university' available capabilities, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to achieve economic sustainability and develop the educational and research sectors.
His Excellency, the President of the University pointed out the university' commitment to supporting investment areas in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, stressing the importance of cooperation with relevant parties to achieve the desired goals.
- Studying the conditions of scholarship students
The Council discussed a number of topics related to scholarship students, and adopted recommendations that ensure improving their academic experience and achieving the objectives of scholarship programs.
