Course Description
Pharmacogenomics is the study of how the genome affects the body's response to drugs. Pharmacogenomics combines traditional pharmaceutical sciences, such as biochemistry with specific knowledge of genes, proteins, and single nucleotide polymorphisms. This course will provide the basis to understand the current state and literature in pharmacogenomics, including the methods used in research and the current issues in discovery and implementation of pharmacogenomics.
