Message from the Head of the Department
Praise be to Allah, who taught by the pen and taught man what he did not know. Peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds, and upon his family and noble companions, as numerous as the writings of pens.
It is my pleasure, on behalf of myself and my colleagues in the Chemistry Department at the College of Sciences, to warmly welcome you to Al-Jouf University. Our university is one of the landmarks of national advancement in northern Saudi Arabia, and we take pride in representing a leading department in education and scientific research.
The Chemistry Department at Al-Jouf University is a fundamental part of the Kingdom’s journey in education and research. It has graduated generations of outstanding students at various academic levels and continues to fulfill its educational mission with the highest efficiency. The department is distinguished by its highly qualified and experienced faculty, as well as its modern educational and research facilities that enhance the quality of its programs.
The department aims to graduate exceptional professionals who meet the needs of the labor market across academic, industrial, and research sectors. We are proud of the distinguished researchers among our faculty, who have received high recognition both locally and internationally.
The Chemistry Department at Al-Jouf University consistently strives for excellence, as demonstrated by its global ranking in the 2023 QS subject rankings, where it achieved the position (601–630) globally and sixth locally. This achievement reflects the dedication and efforts of our department members.
The department boasts advanced laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art scientific and research instruments, enabling researchers to conduct innovative and advanced studies. This significantly enhances scientific research in the field of chemistry.
Furthermore, the department is committed to serving the local community through educational programs, environmental development, and partnerships with industries related to chemistry. This contributes to the progress and growth of our beloved Kingdom.
