The course covers the medicinal chemistry of different chemotherapeutic agents such as antimicrobial agents, antiprotozoal and anthelmintic. A special section will be assigned for cancer and anticancer chemotherapy. Agents to be studied, will include steroids, oral hypoglycemic, thyroid and antithyroid drugs. Emphasis is given to the mechanism of action, SAR and metabolism of these agents
