General description of the course - Introduction to Sports Sciences is one of the compulsory courses for students of the Bachelor of Sports Sciences. The course aims to introduce students to the importance of physical activity and its objectives, sports culture, women's sports, knowledge of the origins of sports sciences (economic - social - psychological - historical - political - religious - philosophical - administrative), knowledge of the relationship of sports to other sciences and fields including (psychology - recreation - physiology - anatomy), knowledge of sports and the ancient and modern Olympic Games, and the development of sports in the Kingdom.
