The course includes a detailed introduction to the science of creed, explaining its subject, related terms, names, merits, evidence, its relationship to other sciences, explaining the agreement of the messages in creeds, the ruling on learning it, its fruits, the history of its codification and stages, the most important books written about it, what is meant by the people of the Sunnah and the community, their titles and characteristics, the original and secondary sources of reception among the people of the Sunnah and among those who disagree, the rules of the people of the Sunnah and the community in considering and reasoning on matters of belief, responding to the claim that evidence is not based on individual reports in belief, and the claim that transmission and reason conflict, and responding to them in general. It also includes a definition of monotheism and its divisions in general, and a definition of the pillars of faith in general.
