Course Description
Econometrics covers the basic principles and concepts of economic data analysis using regression techniques. The course begins with an introductory introduction to econometrics and its applications in the analysis of economic relationships. It focuses on univariate regression models and presents some of the key ideas of bivariate regression analysis. The course also covers bivariate regression models and their estimation problems, in addition to studying the traditional normal linear regression model. It also discusses bivariate regression, interval estimation, and hypothesis testing. In the advanced part, it covers multiple regression analysis and problems related to estimation and hypothesis testing. The course aims to provide students with the skills necessary to apply econometric techniques to the analysis of economic data.
