Course Description
The industrial applications of inorganic chemistry including a survey of the chemical industry and its principal products; as sulphuric and phosphoric acid industry, extraction of lanthanides and uranium from phosphate ores; production of nitrogenous fertilizers; synthesis and applications  of layered double hydroxide ( LDH), will be discussed. Informative knowledge about nanomaterials, their preparation, characterization and applications. The course will cover the basis of extractive metallurgy. The wastewater treatment techniques will be discussed and finally will spot light on also will discuss the isotopes and their applications in industry, research and medicine.
