This course introduces the basics of heat transfer by conduction, radiation, and convection, steady state solution for heat conduction in plane and radial walls, composite walls, walls with energy generating sections, and extended surfaces (fins), multidimensional conduction, unsteady heat transfer in plates, cylinders, and spheres, free and forced convection for external and internal flows, heat exchangers, blackbody and gray-body radiation systems.
