Course Description
In this course the students will understand the composition, chemical, and physical properties of drinking water and the importance of quality water because poor water quality can have a negative impact on human health. In addition, the different types of water pollutants will be presented in detail. An overview of basic water treatment processes to reduce the pollution in wastewater samples will be discussed. The processes include the pre-treatment, preliminary treatment, primary treatment, and secondary treatment of wastewater.
