In this course, the student studies the methods of the critical imams and hadith jurists and their approaches to responding to the doubts of those who object to hadiths, and to reconciling hadiths that appear to contradict each other, and to reconciling those that differ in them. The student also learns about the imams’ responses to these doubts.
