Under the supervision of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Faleh Al-Sarhani, Dean of the College, and in conjunction with World Thalassemia Day, the College of Applied Medical Sciences, represented by the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, held a lecture entitled: "Thalassemia: Complications and Methods of Prevention." The lecture was delivered by Dr. Abuzar Aldardiri, who discussed various types of blood disorders with a focus on thalassemia. He addressed the complications associated with the disease and ways to reduce its spread.
