Chaired by His Excellency, the University' President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, Jouf University Council Holds Its Sixth Session and Approves Many Recommendations to Support Scientific Research and Enhance Academic Cadres

Chaired by His Excellency, the University President, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, with the attendance of the Council's members: the university’ vice rectors and deans of colleges and supporting deanships, Jouf University Council held its sixth session for the academic year 1446 AH, 

The meeting began with a speech given by His Excellency, the University President, in which he welcomed the members of the Council, stressing the university’ continuous efforts to develop and enhance its scientific and academic mission, in order to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in building a knowledge-based society and an economy based on innovation and scientific research.

During the session, the Council discussed many scheduled topics issuing the regarding decisions, most notably:

- Approval of the proposal for scientific publishing rewards, which aims to encourage faculty' members and researchers to enhance distinguished scientific production, which contributes to raising the level of scientific research at the university

Discussing a number of scholarship topics and taking appropriate decisions regarding them.

- Discussing a number of topics related to faculty' members and taking appropriate decisions regarding them, in accordance with the rules and regulations.

- The Council also discussed a number of topics on the agenda and made the necessary recommendations regarding them.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency, the University President thanked the Council' members for their efforts in developing the academic process, and stressed that these decisions reflect the University’ commitment to developing a supportive academic and research environment, achieving excellence in various scientific fields, supporting faculty' members and researchers, and improving the outcomes of education and scientific research in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
