Course Description
This course aims to further develop the students drafting skills in 2D, and 3D drawings using CAD software. The students will be able to view their designs from different viewpoints to envision their entire design in details. Students will be able to also draw all kind of surfaces and structures like tents and light weight canopies and buildings and add all architectural details like doors, windows, openings, and ornaments and interior design elements. They can also create orthographical projection drawings from the 2D&3D drawings such as elevations and sections or use the camera views to create different interior and exterior perspectives.
This course will be conducted using several class tutorials in the computer lab and the students will practice the software through several assignments and exercises. By the end of the class the student will be able to convert any manual 2D &3D drawing to CAD drawing.
