This course addresses the concept of statistics, the distinction between descriptive and inferential statistics, variables and their types, and sampling methods. It covers descriptive statistics (measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, correlation, and regression) and their application using the SPSS software. The course also delves into inferential statistics (hypothesis testing and Chi-square tests) and the analysis of questionnaires using SPSS, in addition to index numbers.
