Obstacle-Presence Schemes for Mobile Anchor-Assisted Localization in Wireless Sensor Networks
2024 - 2025

This proposal aims to enhance localization accuracy in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) by introducing a novel algorithm called Square Spiral with Obstacle Avoidance (SQSPOA). This algorithm allows a mobile anchor node to follow an optimal path while avoiding obstacles and broadcasting its coordinates to sensor nodes. The SQSPOA algorithm ensures that at least three non-collinear beacon messages are received by sensor nodes, improving localization accuracy.

WSNASG: Wireless Sensor Network Animator and NS2-Based Scenario Generator Tool for Mobile Robot Trajectory

This tool is used as a scenario generator tool for the movement path of mobile Robot used for localization in WSNs. This tool has many capabilities such as:

Wireless Sensor Network Localization Simulator

The framework allows developers to design the required localization algorithm by writing the code into a class library file and referencing it to the framework. Our framework has been validated using different types of localization algorithms: range-free, range-based and hybrid localization for WSNs. Our framework results had been compared to the selected localization algorithms results and it was found that they were compatible with the original results of these algorithms in their papers.

Enhancing Patient Awareness of Drug Interactions in Saudi Arabian Hospitals through AI

This proposal aims to address the critical issue of medication safety in Saudi Arabian hospitals by introducing an AI-driven system to enhance patient awareness of drug interactions. Leveraging image detection technology and advanced AI algorithms, the system will provide personalized guidance on Drug-Drug, Food-Drug, and Vitamin-Drug interactions. By mitigating the risks associated with adverse drug reactions, this initiative seeks to improve healthcare outcomes and patient safety across Saudi Arabia.
