It is with great pleasure that the Deanship of Admission and Registration extends its congratulations to our sons and daughters on successfully completing secondary school, and welcomes them to Jouf University, wishing them a successful academic journey filled with achievement and distinction.
This stage marks a new beginning in the student’s academic and professional life. The university is committed to offering diverse academic programs that are grounded in high-quality standards and contribute to preparing qualified national competencies to meet the aspirations of our nation in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
This guide has been prepared as a comprehensive reference for all applicants, containing the available majors, admission requirements and procedures, as well as the admission percentages for each college and program.
The Deanship reaffirms its commitment to serving students, facilitating all admission and registration procedures, and continuously developing its services according to the highest quality standards, aiming to provide a distinguished university experience.

- The applicant must be a Saudi national or the child of a Saudi mother.
- The applicant must have taken the National Center for Assessment tests (General Aptitude Test and Achievement Test for admission to scientific, engineering, and health colleges).
- For applicants to health programs, the secondary school certificate must not be older than two years.
- The applicant must successfully pass any test or personal interview required by the University Council or the College Council.
- If employed in any governmental or private sector, the applicant must obtain written approval from their employer to pursue studies.
- The applicant must hold a secondary school certificate or its equivalent, either from within the Kingdom or abroad.
- The applicant must be medically fit in accordance with the admission policies of each college.
- The applicant must meet any other requirements specified by the University Council.
- Students already enrolled in another undergraduate program, whether at Jouf University or any other university, are not eligible for admission.
- Admission is conducted annually at the beginning of each academic year. The University Council may grant exceptions to this rule.
- Admission is direct to the college, based on the admission requirements approved by the University Council and announced at the time.
- Some colleges may require additional criteria for continuing study after at least one semester in the first year, subject to the approval of the relevant committees and councils, and final endorsement by the authorized authority.
- Admission to all programs of the Applied College is on the common track of the college.
- Students are assigned to diploma programs after successfully completing the common track according to the following:
- Meeting the requirements approved by the Executive Council of the Applied College, provided that the student’s GPA is not less than 2 out of 5.
- Program placement is determined after completing the common English track, based on a 50% weighted admission score and 50% of the student’s GPA in the common English track.

Is there admission priority based on the application submission date?
No. Admission is not affected by the submission date as long as the application is submitted within the specified period.
Is selecting the same major at more than one university counted as one preference?
No. There is no restriction on selecting the same major at multiple universities.
Is there admission for the second semester?
If available, it will be announced during the admission period.
Is priority given to applicants with a high school certificate from the current year?
No. Priority is not based on the year of graduation. Admission is determined by the highest scores according to the published admission criteria and the policies approved by the College Council.
Can non-Saudi residents in the Kingdom apply for admission?
All applicants who obtained a high school certificate from outside the Kingdom must take the National Center for Assessment tests.
Is admission paper-based or electronic?
Admission is fully electronic. No physical documents are required unless specifically requested in exceptional cases, such as:
A non-Saudi student with a Saudi mother.
A student holding a certificate from outside the Kingdom that requires equivalency.
Can outstanding non-Saudi residents in the Kingdom be admitted?
Yes. Distinguished non-Saudi residents may be admitted according to the regulations governing internal scholarships in Saudi universities. More information is available on the electronic admission portal for scholarships.
Is it possible to reorder preferences after saving them?
Yes. This can be done by submitting an admission modification request.
What are the steps to log in for the first time on the platform?
Students log in through the National Unified Access Portal to simplify the process.
What does annual admission mean?
It means admission is offered once at the beginning of the academic year only, and there will be no admission period in the second semester.
Can students choose the semester of admission?
Yes. The semester is indicated in the program details when adding it as a preference.
Can the major be changed after final admission?
No. Changing the major is not allowed after final admission.
Are admission criteria fixed and the same for all majors?
No. Each major has its own admission criteria. Academic requirements can be viewed on the program information page.
Can all preferences be chosen from one university only?
Yes, provided that the student selects at least 25 majors, with at least one preference from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).
