Growth and anisotropy of transport properties of 2 single crystals
Abstract
Single crystals of š¶š¢šŗššš2are prepared by a technique based on the vertical Bridgman procedure. The crystal chemical and phase compositions were identiļ¬ed by using dispersive X-ray ļ¬uorescence spectrometry and X-ray diļ¬raction data analysis, respectively. The Hall eļ¬ect and the electrical conductivity were determined in terms of temperature, parallel and orthogonal to the layer surface, and the parameters proved to be strongly anisotropic. From carried out measurements, diļ¬erent parameters such like the carrier mobilities, the carrier concentration, the relaxation time, the diļ¬usion coeļ¬cient, and the length of diļ¬usion for both, majority carriers and minority carriers were estimated
