The Reality of Secondary Stage Arabic Language Teachers’ Using of the Unified Education System "My School Platform" in Teaching in Al-Jawf Region
Abstract
This research aimed to identify the reality of using the unified education system "My School Platform" in teaching Arabic in the secondary stage in Al-Jouf region from the teachers’ point of view, and to reveal the differences in the teachers’ perspectives regarding the use of my school platform in teaching Arabic at the secondary stage, which may due to the variables of gender, academic qualification and number of years of experience, identifying the obstacles that faced the use of my school platform in teaching Arabic at the secondary stage, and reaching the most important proposals to achieve more activation for the use of my school platform in teaching Arabic at the secondary stage. The descriptive method was used, and the research sample consisted of (164) male and female teachers, and a questionnaire was prepared that included three axes. The results showed a high degree of approval on the part of the members of the research sample regarding the reality of using my school platform in teaching Arabic at the secondary level, and the most important features of this use were the use of electronic dialogue and discussion, benefiting from the diverse enrichment electronic content, and the implementation of electronic tests. There were no statistically significant differences in the views of the research sample members regarding the use of my school platform in teaching Arabic at the secondary level due to gender, academic qualification and number of years of experience. The degree of approval of the research sample members on the obstacles that faced the use of my school platform in teaching Arabic was medium, and the most important of these obstacles were the weakness of the Internet in some areas, and the recurrence of technical problems in the platform. Regarding the degree of approval of the members of the research sample on the proposals to achieve more activation for the use of my school platform in teaching Arabic, it was high, foremost of which was the provision of training courses for the users of my school platform, and the establishment of servers that accommodate the huge number of students. In light of the research results, some recommendations and suggestions were formulated
