A Case Study on Students' Attitudes towards Speaking and Writing Skills among Libyan University Students
Abstract
This study investigates Libyan EFL students towards reading and writing. The study used questionnaires and interview to gather data on the feelings of students towards speaking and writing in English. Results show that while most of the students reported positive attitude toward speaking and writing in English, they actually did very little to improve their proficiency in the two skills. This means that teachers need to motivate their students to make more efforts towards developing speaking and writing in English.
