Journal Name : held at Aga Khan University

Abstract

The National Health Sciences Research Symposium (NHSRS) is a flagship event of the Aga Khan University’s Faculty of Health Sciences addressing topical global health challenges like water and sanitation, antimicrobial resistance, heart diseases and cancer. This year, the choice was obvious: the novel coronavirus.

The Symposium has an international standard and involves a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, policymakers and researchers to present and learn about the latest advances from around the globe.

COVID-19 has taken over our lives in a way that is unprecedented in history. Pakistan, just like any other country, has been seriously affected in all spheres. Thus, a need to collate the latest and cutting-edge knowledge about COVID-19 regarding medical and health practices is significant for redesigning and innovating the health systems in the low and middle-income countries.

The programme is to be a mix of talks, interactive sessions, scientific posters and workshops, which will make the event lively and interesting for all.

We look forward to your participation.
