The Effect of Using E-Activities to Develop the Oral Skills in English Language among Students of Intermediate Stage According to their Teachers' Viewpoint in Aljouf Region

Abstract

The aim of this research was to identify the effect of using E-Activities to develop Oral Skills in the English Language among students of intermediate stage according to the point of view of their teachers in Aljouf region. In order to achieve this aim, the researcher utilized the survey descriptive method, and prepared a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (107) English language teachers of the intermediate stage in the third semester of the academic year 1443/1444. The results of the phrases that represented the axis of the effect of using E-Activities to develop listening skill in the English language among students of the intermediate stage were of high degree, as they were confined between the averages (4.30) and (4.5). Moreover, the results of the phrases that represented the axis of the effect of using E-Activities to develop speaking skill in the English language among students of the intermediate stage according to their teachers' viewpoint were of high degree, as they were confined between the averages (4.29) and (4.47). and the results of the phrases that represented the axis of the kind of E-Activities to develop listening and speaking skills in the English language among students of intermediate stage were of high degree, as they were confined between the averages (4.22) and (4.44). Furthermore, the results showed that there were not any significant statistical differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) among averages of study samples' responses about the effect of using E-Activities to develop the oral skills in the English Language among students of the intermediate stage according to their teachers' viewpoint in Aljouf region that were related to the variable (number of years of teachers' experience and academic degree),
