Abstract

Nuclear resonance fluorescence (NRF) excitations in 235U were detected with LaBr3(Ce) scintillating detectors. The NRF experiment was performed at the High Intensity γ-ray Source (HIγS) facility using quasi-monochromatic circularly or linearly polarized γ-ray beams. Photons scattered at 90o relative to γ-ray beam were recorded at Eγ = 1.74 or 1.85 MeV transitions by LaBr3(Ce) detectors.
