The Risks of using technical analysis in making investment decisions in financial markets

Abstract

This paper deals with the risks of using technical analysis in investment decision making by applying SABIC shares. This paper is divided into three axes: the concept of risks and their types, tools and methods of technical analysis and the methods used in technical analysis based on the strength index Relative to SABIC's risk assessment.
The study concluded that its importance stems from how these maps are read and their times and how their indicators are linked to each other. The choice of the quality of maps can lead to different readings and signals from these maps and graphs, which affects the quality of investment decisions taken.
